My Philosophy

As the Executive Director and founder of Choices, I am dedicated to guiding my clients through rough patches to help them reach their full potential. My experience as a mother, stepmother, counselor and professor has given me a great deal of natural insight into life issues, and together with my professional training this allows me to take a personalized approach to helping my clients address their own issues. I have been practicing in a clinical setting for 26 years, and I believe that although life can be difficult and change can be challenging, hope lives in the choices we make every day.

My Background

I have my Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Chicago, 1988, and I’ve had my LCSW through the state of IL since 1990.
